Health & Detox
Frequent Questions
Before beginning any detox journey, most people carry the same worries, hesitations and curiosities. It’s completely natural — especially if you’ve spent years navigating symptoms without clear answers.
This FAQ section is here to give you clarity, reassurance and a deeper understanding of how Irina works, what to expect, and how your body responds along the way.
Each question below is written from real client experiences, offering guidance for both the practical and emotional side of detox.
1
How long do I need to detox?
There is no universal timeline because every body heals at a different pace. Your detox length depends on factors such as:
-
whether you are detoxing preventatively or to address a chronic issue
-
how long you’ve been experiencing symptoms
-
the state of your lymphatic system, kidneys and endocrine glands
-
your genetic strengths and weaknesses
-
previous diet, lifestyle and stress load
Detox is not a sprint but a long mountain trail — some days light and effortless, others slow or emotional. Over time, the “backpack” you’ve been carrying becomes lighter until your body finds ease again.
One of the gifts of detoxification is learning to hear your body’s signals clearly — and your own system will eventually tell you when its healing cycle is complete.
2
Can I return to my usual eating habits after detox?
You can — it’s your body and your choice.
But if your previous habits included highly processed foods, dairy, stimulants, refined grains or sugar, returning completely to that way of eating will likely bring the symptoms back.
A better approach is integration: slowly reintroducing foods with awareness, noticing how your body responds, and creating a long-term rhythm that supports your energy rather than dampens it.
3
Does detox mean eating only salads?
Not at all.
Detox cuisine can be vibrant, flavourful and deeply nourishing. You’ll receive recipes and ideas that make detox food enjoyable rather than restrictive.
Creativity is encouraged. Pleasure is encouraged.
Hunger is not.
4
How much should I eat and when?
The golden rule: Do not let yourself get hungry.
Hunger triggers old patterns — cravings, emotional eating, or a sense of collapse. Staying nourished keeps your nervous system stable and prevents slipping back into old rhythms.
Planning ahead helps. When travelling or socialising, bring food with you — and bring enough to share. People are often curious and delighted, not judgmental.
5
Can I detox without herbal formulas?
Yes — dietary detox alone works, but it is usually slower.
Herbal formulas accelerate lymphatic movement, strengthen elimination pathways, support organs and glands, and reduce discomfort during healing crises. They are optional, but most clients find them extremely supportive.
6
Can I have cheat days when cravings are strong?
Cravings are part of detox — and they are intelligent signals:
-
craving salty foods → adrenal fatigue or kidney weakness
-
craving sweets → possible candida or blood-sugar imbalance
-
craving breads or grains → fungal or yeast presence
If a craving becomes overwhelming, have the food without shame — then gently return to your protocol.
Keeping a cravings journal helps you understand what your body is trying to say.
7
What is a healing crisis?
Detoxification is not linear. When the body releases stored waste, old symptoms or emotions may rise temporarily. This might look like:
-
fatigue
-
skin breakouts
-
mood swings
-
digestive changes
-
emotional waves
-
return of past symptoms
Just like deep-cleaning a house, it can look messier before it becomes clear again. Irina guides you through these phases so you feel informed, held and able to continue with confidence.
8
What if my partner or friends don’t support my detox?
Support is wonderful, but not required.
Some clients even find that detox naturally clarifies which relationships nourish them — and which drain them.
Ultimately, this is your body, your health, your decision. You’re choosing detox because something inside you knows you deserve better.
9
What exactly is lymphatic iridology?
Yes — dietary detox alone works, but it is usually slower.
Iridology examines the iris — its colours, fibres and textures — to understand the state of tissues throughout the body.
It does not diagnose disease.
What it reveals includes:
-
constitutional strengths
-
inherited weaknesses
-
lymphatic stagnation
-
organ resilience
-
areas requiring priority support
For many clients, it is the first visual confirmation of patterns they’ve sensed for years but couldn’t articulate.
10
Is this work suitable for serious conditions?
Yes — Irina works holistically with the full spectrum, including:
-
thyroid disorders
-
autoimmune conditions
-
cancer support
-
digestive collapse
-
nutrient malabsorption / anorexia
-
extreme fatigue
-
anxiety and nervous-system burnout
Her approach doesn’t isolate one organ — it rebuilds the entire system.
11
Do I need lab tests?
They can help, but they are not required.
Irina can interpret blood tests if you have them, but she works effectively with or without them.
12
Is this suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
A gentle, food-based protocol may be possible, but certain herbs and routines are not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
A discovery call will help determine what’s safe for your body and your stage of life.
13
Do I need to be in Switzerland to work with Irina?
No — clients work with her online from Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the US.
Detox protocols and follow-up sessions are fully accessible remotely.
14
Will I lose weight during detox?
If your body is holding excess waste or inflammation, weight loss may happen naturally.
If you are underweight, the intention is nourishment, absorption and stability — not further reduction.
Detox is about balance, not shrinking.
